Dear Mariska: Your new site is beautiful and the pensive pose of Miss Fanning is amazing. I haven't been so enchanted with a child star since Margaret O'Brien. However, Miss Fanning is such a beauty and is, to anyone's observation, highly intelligent. Some microcephalics criticize her as being a 40-year-old woman in a girl's body and that she is, therefore, creepy. Though her I.Q. may be high, please remember that she is a young girl, deserving of respect, tenderness and nurture. Respect her child

I just wanted to say I am a huge Dakota Fanning fan. My favorite movie with her in it is Man On Fire. And I also wanted to say as far as those comments her last director made about her being a diva.... that coulds never happen. Dakota is way to mature and down to earth to become a diva. and hopefully even though there is the stress of tabloids and reporters saying this kinda stuff about her it will not get to her and she end up like Lindsay or Britney. Keep doing ur thing Dakota!!!

Dear Mariska: You may see "Hounddog" yet. As with most trashy films that bomb out in America, the distributors are already talking about moving it to the overseas market. It's bombed big time over here. $50,000 gross in the first week! All it's done is to get even more people mad at Hollywood... and to further humiliate Dakota. Oh yes; I live in Houston, Texas.
