Dear Kate: It's fine that you want to be an actress. Just remember that the opportunities are still limited, so don't be disappointed if it doesn't work out. On a personal note: Cindy Osbrink is the LAST Hollywood agent I'd send an inquiry to. Dakota would have never been involved in a cheap, sordid movie like "Hounddog" or those disturbing fashion photos if it hadn't been for her misguidance. Instead, find out who AnnaSophia Robb's agent is! She's never been exploited like Dakota has and is probably now more sought after since "Bridge to Terabithia".

Dear Craig: It's good to hear that you got a response. I friend of mine sent her a magazine copy to replace one that her dog had chewed up (!) and she wrote him back. They've known each other via mail for a while, as he runs one of her fansites. He's commented that she doesn't answer mail too much anymore and has been worried about her. Her experiences during and since the making of "Hounddog" have caused her a lot of personal anguish. Maybe this means that she's coming out of it. Best wishes.
