Doakota Fanning is sooooo cool, she's actually older than me, but only by a bit, i'm nearly twelve. i've ALWAYS wanted to be an actress, i go to stage school and been on stage HEAPS of times but never T.V. i would love to be on TV soooooo much. Dakota is kinda like my role model (even though i'm nearly the same age as her), if she ever see's this website tell her gabbi said hi!

I just wrote Dakota, and I was wondering how long it takes for her to respond? I know she's very busy, so I don't expect a response soon, but I would just like to know an approximate. Since she's written you I thought you might know!

Dear Mariska: Like I said, the IMDB reviewer gives the impression that, while "Hounddog" has been extensively edited, it's still ugly and disturbing. Once again, please remember that the big issue is what happened on the set during the filming. That is the ugliest aspect of all. I'm far less concerned with what the movie contains in it's final version than I am what it's making did to Dakota and those other two kids with her... or what it will mean to other children as a result, other child actors in particular. I only wish that Dakota had spent last summer having fun in your country instead of making that terrible film in North Carolina!
